Terms of Service

Trela
Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Trela Discord bot application (“Trela”, “the Bot”). By adding Trela to a server or interacting with it, you agree to these Terms and to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

1. What Trela Is

Trela is a moderation and community-management tool for Discord servers. It provides features such as age verification, tickets, warnings, bans, anti-raid/anti-nuke tools, staff workflows, logging, levels, giveaways, automation, and optional 18+ media browsing helpers that may only be used in Discord age-restricted channels. Feature availability depends on what each server’s administrators enable.

2. Relationship of Parties

Server rules and staff decisions are separate from these Terms. If you disagree with a moderation action, contact that server’s staff or use any appeal process the server provides.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Age Verification & Restrictions

Some servers require age verification. By submitting a date of birth or evidence through the Bot, you confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Servers may:

Providing false information may result in loss of access, role removal, imprisonment, or bans.

5. Moderation & Automated Enforcement

The Bot may automatically take actions configured by server staff, including but not limited to: timeouts, warnings, kicks, bans, role removal, prison assignment, join screening, spam deletion, raid slowmode, anti-nuke imprisonment, invite-mass-join alerts, and scheduled unbans. Automated actions may occur without prior manual review when enabled.

6. Staff Confirmations

Certain events are sent to a server’s confirmation channel for staff review (for example: under-age verification, age mismatches, high-risk moderator actions, loan permissions, and some warnings). Staff decisions made through those workflows are the responsibility of the server’s administrators.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data may be stored and how it is used.

8. Availability & Changes

The Bot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Server administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot appropriately for their community.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for actions taken by server staff, other users, or Discord. Total liability arising from use of the Bot shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Bot in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if the Bot is provided free of charge.

11. Termination

Server administrators may remove the Bot at any time. We may restrict access to the Bot for abuse, legal compliance, or security reasons. Moderation actions already logged may remain in server records after removal, subject to the Privacy Policy and server practices.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Bot operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your country.
